會去看《斷背山》有三個原因。
一是電影題材涉及同性戀，其次是奧斯卡熱潮所催，還有是因為我之前聽過這隻原聲碟。
電影背景是六十年代的懷俄明州，音樂風格自然是懷舊的鄉村老調。
原聲碟中最耳熟能詳的大概是戲裡經常出現的那幾個簡單結他調子；聽起來有點平板無變化，卻有種淡淡的哀愁。
還記得斷背山的天地壯闊、山高水清嗎？還記得戲中角色那些纏綿的喜與悲嗎？你大概能透過音樂喚起心中某些難忘的感覺。
純音樂以外，碟中歌曲都不離民謠和鄉村小調；在電影中播得較為完整的雖然只有結幕時的《He Was a Friend of Mine》和《The Maker Makes》，其他歌曲其實也和電影內容有很直接的關連，大部分的歌詞都貼切地描寫了戲中的意境和情感。因此作為看戲後的回顧，這隻原聲碟的選曲實在相當恰當。
如果撇除電影的因素，碟中的懷舊鄉村音樂可能有點偏於老土；但當中還是不乏出色的作品。《A Love That Will Never Grow Old》是例牌卻帶點嚴肅堅毅的情歌，《I Don’t Want to Say Goodbye》令人越聽越依依不捨。至於主題歌曲《He Was a Friend of Mine》與電影配合就顯得更為出色；細聽歌詞，彷彿能接觸到Ennis最後那無奈悲慟的心情，很有意思。

現在才聽光良，是否很遲？大概「遲聽好過沒聽過」吧。
起初聽《童話》是因為朋友不停在推介，那時覺得這應該又是一首太容易感動大眾的歌。聽多幾次，漸漸連我也被感動，因此才會去聽《童話》整張專輯。
感覺很好。光良大概是我欣賞的那種唱作歌手，歌曲的特點是樸實、真誠而商業味較輕。專輯《童話》的概念是「相信」，我喜歡的還是那份簡單直接的情感。
《童話》是catchy易聽的大眾情歌，《天堂》莊嚴得來有點沉重，《少年》有種血氣方剛的衝勁，《向左走向右走》給茫然的尋找帶來勇氣，以上的都是上品。較普通而仍然好聽的有《手機留言》和《妹妹》，只是有點偏於老土了。
最難頂的應是《期限》，旋律平淡編曲沉悶，還要重覆一遍又一遍。
好聽的歌有兩種－－一是單純動聽得讓你想一聽而聽的；另一種是歌曲能帶給你空間，無論思想也好放鬆心情也好；《童話》應是後者。
一年前推出的專輯，現在才聽是否很遲？慶幸我還來得及去聽，沒有錯過一個感動的空間。

街上的萬聖節氣氛越來越濃厚，Halloween又來了。
仍未去看搶盡節日風頭的《Corpse Bride 怪誕屍新娘》，我還是向南瓜王歡呼好了。
相信無論是屍新娘還是一眾鬼怪角色，都不敵Jack Skellington在Halloween的地位吧。

附帶一提，十月三十一日的Halloween其實並不是「萬聖節」，而是「萬聖節前夕」。真正的萬聖節是十一月一日的All Saints。
