《American Idiot》聽了幾年還是不厭，近日 Green Day 甚至把它和《21st Century Breakdown》的歌曲搬上百老匯舞台。
舞台劇專輯中一眾演員重新演釋Green Day歌曲。聽著聽著，還是覺得Give Me Novacaine和Whatsername最有感覺。
個人覺得，那份空虛和孤單，甚至比原曲來得更有力量。

這次創新地把Rock album化為舞台劇，未知會否推出DVD，起碼讓無緣入場的fans都可以一睹那舞台上的喜怒哀樂。

Susan Boyle – I Dreamed a Dream

Yup. “I Dreamed a Dream”, that’s all the reason I try this album.
But then I am glad that I did.

From Susan Boyle I can hear energy, youth, and most of all, one of a kind loneliness.
Warms your heart and all.

(Well not to mention they got my favorite “End of The World” in this album too.)

Mr Tam? yuck…

我少聽廣東歌，前陣子朋友在說有隊名為Mr.的新band聽來不錯。

試聽完，覺得不錯的有《森林》和《感動》。
但可惜有那隻抄Bon Jovi抄到出面的《Mr Tam》，還要聲稱是原創，甚至是a dedication to their mentor Alan Tam喎，認真厲害。
抄襲一隻名曲，來多謝一個人教自己寫歌，這個「多謝」的誠意的確十足。

再看看那個official MV，一眾人七情上面在唱著一隻抄襲來的歌曲；而那位Mr Tam見有人為自己作歌就不知就裡衝出來跟人拍MV，扮玩hard rock，即時讓人倒胃口。
忍不住要說句what a shame and what a SHAM!

不過，平心而論，我還是覺得《森林》好聽。
而且我不覺得《感動》是在抄襲Travis。

夏天的味道

寒冷的天氣過去，間中潮濕間中回暖，有沒有令你想起夏天的感覺？
曾幾何時，我們赤腳跑過青草地，迎面吹著清爽微風，還走過沒有憂慮的日子。

回憶美好，是因為除了能把它留在心中，還可偶然拿出來回味。
未知Tamas Wells那樸實和諧的聲音，能否喚醒你心中被遺忘了的陽光？

脫俗的淚

上星期買了這隻古典流行雜錦碟《Arias》，難以透過網路力量到手的掏掏腰包也無妨。
本來我是衝著電視廣告那幾隻歌去買（Hayley Westenra和Vienna Boys’ Choir等），想不到最喜歡反而是這隻The Choirboys版本的《Tears in Heaven》。

《Tears in Heaven》是Eric Clapton為紀念亡兒所寫的歌，幾歲稚子從50多層的公寓墮下，就算不去細想也感到駭人。悲哀的意境，在3個小男孩清純的聲音下反而脫俗了。
生死相隔的傷痛，很深刻，但不會是永恆。活著的，就要好好去走自己的路。

Simple Plan給悲情城市的歌

Simple Plan的新歌《When I’m Gone》，旋律沒有以往動聽，節奏感和活力仍然強烈。
唯獨是無甚驚喜的歌詞，乍聽下像是寫給悲情城市似的，感覺過癮。

不過我的政治和時事觸覺一向都很鈍，未知會否錯誤地「聽者有意」。
如有我理解上bold錯歌詞的地方，有請指正。=)

（其實哪有地方沒慘事？一天到晚挾著悲情之名呱呱嘈，最終又淪為亂黨生事。
要化解悲情，應由自己做起。）

站在天地間

十一月，天氣涼了，前幾天也有煙雨濛濛的日子。
天色灰暗，涼中帶濕的環境，不知為何總令我覺得異常平和。世上有什麼紛爭，都好像在那刻平靜下來了；人就是那麼渺小站在天與地之間，只能細看自然變化。
在這種心情下，會特別喜歡某些帶相似感覺的音樂。就如這首，近來常常聽著。

Marcel, Tennessee and Me

四年前初次接觸到外國的鄉村音樂，在高考前夕伴我渡過了很多個苦讀的晚上。
而說到第一首喜歡的歌，相信非Marcel的《Tennessee》莫屬了。

Marcel – Tennessee

Country music聽起來跟Pop差不多，但明顯有份樸實的土氣。Marcel的音樂則有點不同，整體感覺上年輕一點、真摯一點。
每次電台播放《Tennessee》時，我總會認得那平和卻帶點孤單的聲音，在寂靜的晚上獨自溫書時聽著特別有風味。
那時聽網上電台，聽歌就像走馬看花；能被特定一首歌吸引，也有一點「因緣際遇」的感覺。

Marcel本是運動員，後來因著機會改行做音樂人，推出過一張CD就被唱片公司放棄了。
那隻《You, Me and the Windshield》，就是我第一張千方百計要從網上弄到手的CD。裡面說的是旅程，是追尋理想，即使要為此放棄某些重要的人和事。
他的音樂商業味不重，充滿活力之餘又忠於個人風格，或者因此做不出什麼成績。
然後這幾年來Marcel一直只擔任創作人的角色，浮浮沉沉找不到落腳點，寫給其他歌手的音樂反而還比較好賣。

我對個人創作總是情有獨鍾，有時看到滿腔創作熱誠的唱作人最後淪為「一碟歌手」（只出一張唱片就「玩完」的歌手），總覺可惜。
許哲珮最近推出了新CD，總算脫離「一碟歌手」的行列。而Marcel在上年與新的唱片公司簽了約，新唱片卻一直只聞樓梯響。
在此祝福Marcel，不是要他一炮而紅，我想的只是看到一份抱負能找到發揮的空間。

林一峰《思生活》

林一峰《思生活》 (2007)

終於買了林一峰的《思生活》，大概我開始掛念他的廣東歌了。
以這十年來的生活留影作為主題，《思生活》是林一峰最新的國語專輯，從簡單的日常事物帶出思緒。

聽音樂之前，已經先被唱片包裝吸引。
林一峰的專輯包裝每次都有特色，但不是那種大件頭放滿贈券的「奢華」，而只是樸實簡單的個人風格。
今次他首次把歌曲以主題分在雙碟上，純黑純白的兩隻磨砂碟看起來很型格。
但我最喜歡的還是歌詞簿。每頁的頂部都有統一的白色橫間，下面就是一峰四處旅遊時的照片，再配上歌詞旁的隨筆；拿在手上活像一本小小的photo journal，這種東西應是一峰迷的那杯茶。

音樂方面，今次可算甚是平淡。
沒有了一貫的放縱感情沉溺，亦少了偶爾的頑皮跳脫，個人感覺這隻碟並沒以前的那麼「易聽」。
在喧鬧煩囂的日光下我大概不會想聽這隻碟，但在夜闌人靜時拿出來陪伴過夜會特別有風味。
《廚房》和《與你共枕》輕鬆溫馨，《公路、塵埃、四合院》是新嘗試，《煙圈和肥皂泡》和《與陌生人喝酒》都各自有份傷感。
而個人最喜歡的「過夜歌」則是《晚睡》和《曼克頓的最後一夜》，前者說的正是我的故事，「夢裡夢外都是一個人」聽著不禁眼濕濕；後者則是簡單的靜夜調子，合上眼聽就能放鬆一天過後的緊張心情了。

以歌曲來說，《思生活》並不特別討我喜歡。演釋方面雖然少了煽情，但仍有嬌柔造作的地方；即使我作為fans，間中也有感到難頂的時候。
但若以整張專輯的概念配合來看，這隻碟仍會是我近期蠻喜歡的精品。（讀著歌詞簿內的隨筆，發現原來我跟一峰在成長路上也有不少共通點呢。尤以《魔鬼與我同生》頁的最為貼切。）
